According to Sports Zone, Rayan Cherki (20) is likely to depart Olympique Lyonnais this summer with multiple clubs interested in prizing the attacking midfielder away from the club.
Only one season remains on Cherki’s contract at Lyon and it has been clear for some time that the young Frenchman has been assessing his options. Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a move and remain interested in the player as he suits the profile that the club are increasingly focusing on.
Liverpool and Tottenham’s interest raised in the Lyon attacking midfielder
However, they may have fierce competition from the Premier League with both Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool thought to be in the early stages of assessing a move for the Lyon attacker, while Newcastle have been previously rumoured to be interested in the Frenchman.
Cherki’s potential has never been in doubt during his time at Lyon, but he has struggled to find a consistent role in the team this season after Laurent Blanc was fired early in the campaign.
