Frankfurt still have a chance to secure a spot in the Champions League knockout stage with four teams separated by just three points in their group.
Marseille come to town for a rematch after several fan incidents marred the first affair back in September. The French club are struggling as of late and have lost their last three games in league play.

On the other hand, Frankfurt are riding high after two dominating Bundesliga wins over Leverkusen and Gladbach. Eintracht can jump Marseille in the group with a win and get closer to at least clinching a spot in the Europa League yet again.

Kevin Trapp has been world-class in goal, while the trio of Daichi Kamada, Jesper Lindstrøm and Randal Kolo Muani have been so dangerous up front.

Captain Sebastian Rode believes that, “We absolutely have to win against Marseille so that we have the chance to move forward.”

There are so many different possible ways Frankfurt can reach the round of 16, but a win would best help to control their fate.

Tuta is suspended, while Makoto Hasebe and Ansgar Knauff are both injured. Oliver Glasner’s squad will also be without Almamy Toure, who was somehow never registered for Champions League play.

Marseille look to be only missing Eric Bailly.
