Building up to tomorrow’s meeting with Bodø Glimt, head coach Niko Kovač revealed that Niklas Süle has returned to Dortmund training.
“Niki [Süle] is back training. When you have everyone on board, you have plenty of options and competition for places.
“That’s why we’ll be thinking tonight about how best to line up the team tomorrow. We want to win the game,” he said at his press conference.
The 54-year-old was more than aware of the favourites tag looming over his BVB side but refused to write the Norwegian club off.
“They don’t play in the Champions League every year, but they’ve won the league title twice in a row and just missed out on it by one point.
“We’ve watched their games. From our perspective, they definitely have too few points, because they’ve always been close.
“They had a close game against Juventus and against Monaco. We’re expecting an opponent who, although their season has ended, is still eager,” Kovač added.
