Coming into the transfer window, there was a long list of players that Chelsea were looking to offload. 19 players have left, either on loan or on a permanent deal. To date, Noni Madueke’s €56m move to Arsenal is the most high value departure to have taken place.
However, there are plenty of players still in the squad that Chelsea are trying to offload. Axel Disasi, who is attracting interest from Premier League clubs, but who, Get French Football News understands, will not return to former club AS Monaco, despite reports to the contrary, is still expected to leave.
As is Ben Chilwell (28), who spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace. The England international’s short spell at Selhurst Park came to an end at the end of last season, but he has no future at Stamford Bridge.
It is The Telegraph’s understanding that the defender is of interest to fellow BlueCo-owned club RC Strasbourg Alsace. Torino and AS Roma are also interested in the left-back. Should he join Strasbourg, it would have to be on a permanent deal as RCSA have already maxed out their loans (three – Mike Penders, Mamadou Sarr, Kendry Paez) from their partner club.
