On Sunday in Valladolid, Spain will play against Georgia in their last official match before the 2024 European Championship in Germany, where they will go as top seeds if they manage to clinch first place in their group (a draw will be enough).
After that, there will be no more official matches, although the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has prepared an intriguing March friendly.
The friendly against Brazil at the Santiago Bernabéu will be played on March 26 and as Relevo report the other match will be against Colombia on March 23.
The match against Brazil was agreed last June “to reinforce the commitment of both entities against violence in football and to intensify the already existing good relations”, according to the RFEF.
It will be the tenth meeting between the two nations, who have not met since the 2013 Confederations Cup final. Of the nine previous meetings, Spain won two and drew two, scoring eight goals and conceding 14.
