According to Foot Mercato, United Arab Emirates club Shabab Al-Ahli are pushing to sign Kurt Zouma (29) from West Ham United this summer. The defender could be set to leave the London Stadium with the Emirati club keen to secure his signature before the window shuts.
Shabab Al-Ahli are not the only club showing an interest in the former Chelsea defender. Several Saudi Arabian clubs are also interested in the services of Zouma, Foot Mercato understands. However, the UAE-based club are currently the most advanced in the race to complete a deal.
With West Ham having a busy window welcoming several newcomers to East London, the Premier League club may view the interest in Zouma as an opportunity to generate some funds. At the moment, it remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old would be interested in moving to the Middle East or would like to stay at the Hammers.
