La Liga outfit Sevilla have this week tied up an agreement for a fresh addition to the club’s defensive ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of a deal being put in place for full-back Gabriel Suazo.
Suazo, for his part, is a 27-year-old left-back, who is also capable of lining out in a more advanced role.
The Santiago native most recently spent time on the books of French outfit Toulouse, after departing Colo-Colo in his home country of Chile back in the summer of 2023.
After the parties failed to reach an agreement on the terms of a contract extension, however, Suazo recently became available as a free agent.
And as alluded to above, late this week, one of La Liga’s leading clubs have taken full advantage of this situation.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Sevilla have agreed deal to sign Gabriel Suazo as new fullback, here we go! Chile international will land on Saturday and sign a three year contract at Sevilla.’
