Atalanta star Ademola Lookman would prioritise a move to La Liga champions Barcelona over any other potential landing spot this summer.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Corriere di Bergamo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
For those not aware, the name of winger Lookman has emerged as a prominent one in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.
This comes amid the understanding that the Nigerian international has been added to Barcelona’s shortlist of targets out wide for next season.
Though Lookman is not considered a priority, the 27-year-old – fresh off another fine season with Atalanta – is held in high regard by Hansi Flick and co.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then interest in a joining of forces between the parties appears to be very much mutual.
As per a report from MD:
‘Corriere di Bergamo published the names of four alleged suitors for the English-born Nigerian international: FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Arsenal, and Napoli. And according to the same report, of all of them, the Blaugrana team is the one that most appeals to Lookman.’
