Serie A side Roma are preparing for the future already, now that they have the assurance that Claudio Ranieri will be their manager for the rest of the season.
Max Allegri is liked a lot by the Friedkins and Corriere dello Sport, via TMW, have reported that they want someone experienced of the Italian’s ilk. They have made that decision on advice of Ranieri and sporting Florent Ghisolfi, with the current manager keen on bringing Allegri to the Olimpico.
For now, the ex-Juve manager wants a clean slate and isn’t quite convinced by what the Friedkins are looking to offer. Having said, the Giallorossi will make contact with the Italian’s agents soon and they will discuss the possibility of Allegri taking over at the end of the season.
Friedkins are happy to be flexible in this regard and the Italian is not said to be keen on taking over a club in the middle of the season.
