As per a report from Le Parisien, Stade Rennais duo Bertug Yildirim (23) and Dogan Alemdar (22) could be set for moves to Istanbul Basaksehir.
Yildirim spent last season on loan in La Liga with Getafe. The Turkish forward made 27 appearances in all competitions, however, he netted just three goals and registered one assist before rejoining parent club Rennes in the summer. His game-time prospects are limited, especially since the arrivals of Breel Embolo and Esteban Lepaul, who joined late in the transfer window.
A departure has been expected, however, he was expected, like Alemdar, to join Goztepe, who are currently flying high in the Turkish top-flight. However, there have been difficulties in finding the deal and Basaksehir are now in pole position to sign the Rennes pair.
Istanbul Basaksehir have limited time to get both deals over the line, with the transfer window in Turkey closing later today, on Friday, 12th September.
