Real Madrid said to be closing in on Havertz

According to Bild, Real Madrid are closing in on a move for German star Kai Havertz.

Germany and former Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz is reportedly close to joining Real Madrid from Chelsea.


According to Bild, the deal is “close to completion”, with the German tabloid claiming that the transfer could now be sealed quickly.

There is no word on the fee at this stage, but one thing is certain: Havertz will not come cheap, having joined Chelsea from Leverkusen for €80 million three years ago.

The 23-year-old versatile attacker is under contract with Chelsea until 2025.
