The brass at La Liga outfit Real Betis have turned focus towards Italy, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing both Diario de Sevilla and Gianluca Di Marzio, who point towards Rolando Mandragora as the player in question.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that the aforementioned Real Betis are scouring the market for a new midfielder this summer.
As much comes with a key figure in Manuel Pellegrini’s engine room ranks, in Johnny Cardoso, primed to depart for La Liga rivals Atlético Madrid any day now.
An extensive shortlist of options has in turn been drawn up.
And featuring prominently on as much, it is understood, is former Juventus talent Mandragora.
As per a report from MD:
‘Rolando Mandragora, Fiorentina midfielder, who turns 28 this Sunday, is one of the candidates being considered by the Real Betis sporting management, as reported by Diario de Sevilla and confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio from Italy.’
It is also noted, though, that Betis could face competition in the race for the Italian from Serie A side Bologna.
