In Wednesday’s edition of Sport Bild, an article claims that Spain legend Raúl González has approached Borussia Mönchengladbach via his agent to inquire about the head coach position.
However, Raúl’s representatives, Gines Carvajal and Alexis Portselis, have now poured cold water on the report.
„We cannot confirm the report from Sport Bild and Transfermarkt and must inform you that we have not offered Raúl to Mönchengladbach. The reports are not true,“ they are quoted as saying by Sky Germany.
Following the dismissal of Gerard Seoane, Eugen Polanski has taken charge on an interim basis, and he appears to have a good chance of being appointed permanently.
