It is turning out to be a significant transfer window for Sassuolo star Gianluca Scamacca, with multiple clubs interested in his services this summer.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Paris Saint-Germain have now raised their offer for Gianluca Scamacca. The report claims that PSG have been in contact with the Italian club over a move for the striker for a long time.
Scamacca, who recently signed a contract extension with the Neroverdi until June 2026, is considered a much-need reinforcement for the French champions.
Various reports have suggested that West Ham United have emerged as the team showing interest in the 23-year-old marksman. However, recent updates have indicated that the player is closing in on a move to the French capital.
As per Di Marzio, Sassuolo value the striker at around €50 million. But Les Parisiens have not shown any inclination to match that asking price.
While PSG’s initial offer for Scamacca was around €35 million plus bonuses, the new developments have seen the French side extending it to €40 million plus bonuses.
Di Marzio understands that PSG have made good progress in the deal with this new offer as Scamacca is reportedly getting closer to joining the Ligue 1 club.
