A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla is garnering mounting transfer interest ahead of the summer.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Loïc Badé as the player in question.
Stopper Badé has seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines in Nervión over the last couple of weeks.
This comes amid the understanding that Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen have earmarked the Frenchman as a key summer transfer target.
The brass at the BayArena consider Badé the ideal profile to replace Bayern Munich-bound Jonathan Tah.
As alluded to above, though, Leverkusen are far from the only European club with sights on the 25-year-old this summer.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, after previously launching a move for Badé back in January, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have reignited their pursuit:
‘Aston Villa are back in the running. Monchi and Unai Emery are closely monitoring Badé’s situation.’
Not only that, but it is noted that after previously rejecting all offers for their defensive stalwart, Sevilla are now open to a sale, desperate to raise funds amid ongoing financial difficulties at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
