Julian Nagelsmann is expected to make three changes to his Bayern Munich starting XI when they play Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena on Sunday evening.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has back problems and will miss the game. That could see Sadio Mané start as Bayern Munich’s No. 9 against Die Werkself. The Senegalese forward is expected to be accompanied by Jamal Musiala and Thomas Müller with Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané both dropping to the bench.
Defensively, Kingsley Coman should replace João Cancelo at right-wing-back with Alphonso Davies operating the other flank. The back three of Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt should remain unchanged with Lucas Hernandez still missing with a long-term injury.
De Ligt, Sané and Leon Goretzka are just one yellow card away from a one game suspension.
As for Bayer Leverkusen, Patrik Schick and Karim Bellarabi are both doubts. Moussa Diaby, Florian Wirtz and Sardar Azmoun are expected to start in a front three.
