Speculation linking Paulo Dybala with an AS Roma exit aren’t going away anytime soon, particularly with his release clause offering foreign teams an excellent cut-price deal.

Pegged at a meagre €13 million for non-Italian clubs, the clause offers Dybala a wide range of possibilities if the World Cup winners want to jump ship mid-season.

Dybala has plunged four goals and six assists in 12 Serie A games, establishing himself as a cornerstone for Roma’s top-four push.

A mid-season exit would undoubtedly serve as a devastating blow to Jose Mourinho, whose side sit five points adrift of the Champions League places.

The good news for Mourinho is that Dybala is happy in Rome, according to Gazzetta, but Roma would be powerless to resist if a foreign club activates the release clause.
