Promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC has reached an agreement with Swiss Super League outfit St. Gallen for the €9m signing of former France youth international striker Willem Geubbels (24), as per Foot Mercato. The former Olympique Lyonnais Academy product will undergo a medical with Paris FC, who will make their Ligue 1 return on Sunday against Angers SCO.
Geubbels’ fine form with St. Gallen has caught the attention of Paris FC. The 23-year-old has logged three goals in as many games with St. Gallen this season. In the previous campaign, Geubbels logged a remarkable return of 17 goals and three assists. Should his €9m transfer go ahead, it would represent a record-breaking sale for St. Gallen.
