Reda Khadra (24) has joined Le Havre AC on loan from Ligue 2 side Stade de Reims, as confirmed by the clubs on deadline day.
Khadra has hardly played in the past 12 months, having suffered a serious knee injury. This season, following Reims’ relegation to Ligue 2, he has played a mere 28 minutes. Game time has not been forthcoming for the former German youth international, and he has missed out on matchday squads, which in the second division are limited to just 18 players.
In their press release, Reims stated that the loan, from a Ligue 2 to a Ligue 1 club, would be a chance for the player to obtain more game time, as he continues his progressive return to full fitness. Le Havre, who beat OGC Nice over the weekend, have a purchase option included in the deal. Khadra’s deal at Reims runs until the summer of 2027.
