The “on again, off again” nature of a loan for Bayern Munich prospect Adam Aznou finally reached a conclusion on Monday. The former Barcelona academy talent will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Real Valladolid.
The Rekordmeister remain intent on keeping the 18-year-old full-back, so therefore a purchase option for the thrice-capped Moroccan international is not part of the deal. The teenage talent has already made three appearances for the Bayern first team, including one in the Champions League.
“Adam Aznou has developed really well since joining FC Bayern, both at our FC Bayern campus and in the past few months in our professional team,” FCB sporting director Christoph Freund noted in a club statement. “It is now important for him to gain competitive experience at the highest level every week in order to take the next step, and La Liga is an excellent option for this.“
