La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday announced a heavy blow on the personnel front in the club’s first-team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation that star attacker Raphinha is set for incoming spells on the sidelines.
Winger Raphinha was for his part forced into a premature departure from Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo on Thursday night.
Post-match, Hansi Flick confirmed that as much came owing to discomfort being experienced by the Brazilian.
And after a round of medical tests, the following has since been announced across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms:
‘Player Raphinha has an injury to the middle third of the femoral biceps in his right thigh. The estimated recovery time is around 3 weeks.’
As much means that Raphinha will not be available for selection once more until the far side of the international break, ruling the 28-year-old out of a minimum of three fixtures.
