Sevilla have already brought in significant funds from selling the likes of Loic Bade and Stanis Idumbo Muzambo, but more could be raised before the transfer window closes on Monday. That’s because Dodi Lukebakio remains one of the most talked-about names, with his future hanging in the balance as multiple clubs circle.
The Belgian winger has drawn widespread interest thanks to his attacking versatility and Sevilla’s pressing financial situation. Despite being tied to the Andalusian club until 2028, they need to continue offloading players in order to register new signings. And Lukebakio could be the next high-profile departure in their restructuring strategy.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football España that both Benfica and Nottingham Forest appear ready to meet Sevilla’s €30m asking price. The Portuguese giants are leveraging their Champions League status to lure the player, and reports suggest Lukebakio is receptive to the move, which would represent good profit for Los Nervionenses after they paid €10m to sign him two years ago.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are financially equipped to match Sevilla’s demands and sees Lukebakio as a key reinforcement to boost their attacking options. Furthermore, clubs like Stuttgart and Atlético Madrid have also expressed interest, although Benfica are said to be favourites at this stage.

Sevilla are prepared to let Lukebakio leave
In recent days, Sevilla have dropped their asking price for Lukebakio, who has been one of their standout performers over the last 12 months. His exit would allow the club to solve their registration woes, while also creating an opportunity to strengthen Matias Almeyda’s squad before the transfer window closes.
Sevilla have been here before with Lukebakio, so there is no guarantee that he departs the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan in the next 36 hours. However, it does appear that an exit is edging ever closer for the Belgium international winger.
