Premier League side Nottingham Forest have registered an interest in Roma defender Evan Ndicka, who is currently in his second Serie A season.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport via TMW, Nottingham Forest are set to challenge Arsenal and Real Madrid in the race to sign Roma’s Evan Ndicka this summer.
The Tricky Trees are the frontrunners to land the Ivory Coast international and Roma are already searching for ways to sell the defender due to his huge salary.
Ndicka arrived for free at Roma in the summer of 2023 after the expiration of his five-year contract with Eintracht Frankfurt. However, the 25-year-old has become a burden to the Giallorossi due to his €4.3 million net per year salary.
Despite several shortcomings, Roma have found new life under Claudio Ranieri and they will look to build on the positive momentum from his stint to make a formidable team next campaign. The capital side have numerous names on their shortlist but few current first-team players are set to get the axe.
