Bild reports that Nottingham Forest continues to watch VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy as the 27-year-old started the season off strongly.
The fact that Guirassy has a release clause in his contract worth €20m and he has started the Bundesliga season with 10 goals makes him appealing to Forest. The Premier League club were interested in Guirassy last season but never pushed for a move.
Guirassy has previously stated his desire to play in the Premier League but is unlikely to leave in the winter due to how hotly Stuttgart has started the season.
If Guirassy does leave next summer, Stuttgart may already have his replacement lined up. Deniz Undav joined Stuttgart on loan in the summer from Brighton. After a brief break due to injury, the 27-year-old has hit the ground running Kicker reports that there is a buy option in the loan agreement worth at least €12m.
Still, as things stand Stuttgart cannot afford the fee unless Guirassy is eventually sold or the club finishes the season in the upper regions of the Bundesliga.
