Serie A side Milan are nearing Malick Thiaw’s sale with Newcastle United advancing for the defender.
Daniele Longo has reported that the centre-back has an agreement with the Magpies and is interested in a transfer. This is proving key, with Thiaw now edging close to Newcastle United.
The English side have indicated a desire to offer €36 million plus bonuses of €4 million and meet Milan’s asking price of €40 million. The belief is that Thiaw is destined to pack his bags for a move.
Milan are prepared to accept the offer on the table for the German, who has won the Scudetto with the Rossoneri under Stefano Pioli. The next two days will be vital in the defender’s situation as there is already an agreement over personal terms between the two parties and a final agreement over the terms should arrive soon.
