Serie A champions Napoli are now set to make a new offer for Genoa defender Radu Drăgușin and could now offer two players in the deal.
At one point, it seemed as the 21-year-old defender was destined to join Tottenham Hotspur. But Napoli are now firmly in the chase. Sky Italia (via CalcioNapoli) state that Napoli will look to offer both Alessandro Zanoli and Leo Ostigard in their move for the Genoa man.
They had initially put forward only Ostigard and while Zanoli seemed to be on his way to Genoa on a loan deal, they have stopped that deal from going through as the Partenopei want to use both players plus cash for Dragusin. The likelihood is that Genoa will accept the deal, if Napoli offer Zanoli on a permanent basis.
The first offer was of €20 million and Ostigard but the permanent inclusion could well seal the deal for Napoli, as Tottenham wait.
