Napoli star Victor Osimhen ready to face Barcelona, but there’s a catch

A fresh insight into the wellbeing of Napoli star Victor Osimhen has today come to the fore online.

And the news will no doubt be met with collective delight on the part of all associated with the Serie A champions.

This comes amid confirmation that frontman Osimhen was spotted in training alongside the rest of Walter Mazzarri’s squad on Sunday.

After sitting out the Partenopei’s meeting with Genoa owing to his late return from the Africa Cup of Nations, fears spread that the Nigerian may also be unavailable to face Barcelona in midweek.

Napoli are set to play host to the Blaugrana in the first leg of the Champions League Last-16 tie between the clubs on Wednesday night.

And Osimhen, it is now assured, will be at the disposal of boss Mazzarri.

As revealed by Diario Sport, however, there is a catch.

Citing sources in Naples, it is claimed that the former Lille standout will take to the pitch at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona ‘for 50 to 60 minutes, no more’.
