Serie A giants Napoli are now pushing to sign Juventus’ Fabio Miretti, aware that the Old Lady need to make sales quickly.
AreaNapoli report that Partenopei sporting director Giovanni Manna knows the midfielder well from his time at Juve, who loaned him out to Genoa last season.
The Italian is back in Turin and is pushing for a transfer to Napoli. The Serie A champions have an agreement over personal terms, with the player having agreed to sign a five-year deal worth €1.5 million per season.
This is an upgrade on his current wage and Napoli know that Juve want to make sales to sign Jadon Sancho and are keen on taking this opportunity. Initially, the Old Lady wanted a fee of €15 million but their asking price is now at around €12 million due to a desperation for sales.
While they prefer a permanent exit, Napoli are offering an initial loan with the obligation to buy.
