Serie A sides Napoli and Juventus are set to compete for Chelsea’s Renato Veiga.
According to a report by TMW, Napoli and Juventus register interest in Chelsea defender Renato Veiga. The Neapolitans and the Old Lady are looking to make moves this month with the transfer window open.
Napoli and Juventus are searching for a new defender to join their ranks and both of their lookouts have led them to the 21-year-old Portuguese international.
The Bianconeri are looking to offload Danilo as soon as possible. The Brazilian defender has not been called up for Juventus’ squad for the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Milan. The club have already decided to part ways with him despite the player not handing a transfer request. The Turin giants are expected to contact Chelsea for Veiga after Danilo leaves.
Napoli are in pole position to sign Danilo but Marseille too stay in the race. It remains to be seen whether the Partenopei go for Veiga if they manage to land the Juventus veteran.
