Max Eberl is scheduled to begin his work as RB Leipzig sporting director on December 15.
However, following the news that Oliver Mintzlaff will step down as club CEO on November 15 because of his new responsibilities as CEO of Corporate Projects and New Investments at Red Bull, Eberl could take office earlier than originally planed.
“I think I can get him to come to Leipzig two or three weeks earlier,” Mintzlaff revealed in an interview with ZDF.
Eberl resigned as Gladbach sporting director for health reasons at the beginning of the year.
