Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to reach a potential loan and contract termination with Serie A title holders Milan and Premier League side Chelsea respetively in the next few hours.
According to a report from Gianluca di Marzio, Bakayoko found his time up at Milan and seeing no absolute future with Chelsea, he initiated the contract termination talks recently in order to sign with Newcastle United or Serie A side Monza, however the former of which seems unlikely.
Bakayoko’s loan as well as contract termination is expected to be realised officially on Wednesday as he awaits for a new challenge with the Magpies pushing hard to sign the midfielder.
To replace the Frenchman, the Rossoneri have intiated talks with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to sign 19-year-old midfield prospect Aster Vranckx. The clubs have been in contact constantly and an agreement is still yet to be reached between the involved parties.
