Serie A giants Milan faced the real possibility of losing Mike Maignan last week and now, they are trying one last time to keep him.
Daniele Longo has reported that while the Frenchman hasn’t completely given up on the idea of joining Chelsea, nothing has been agreed and he remains a Milan player. As a result, the Rossoneri will make one last attempt to keep him.
New manager Max Allegri will be waiting to meet with the France international early next week and he will speak to Maignan about the project that he is planning for. He will also rely on his assistant to communicate those ideas, as they aim to win over the ex-Lille player and keep him away from Chelsea.
The next few days will be vital and they will determine whether Maignan will stay at the club or potentially join Chelsea in the next few weeks.
