Serie A side Milan are set to travel to Hong Kong during their pre-season preparations to face Liverpool in a friendly match.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, a presentation today attended by Milan’s Honorary Vice President Franco Baresi and other dignitaries confirmed that the Rossoneri will go up against Arne Slot’s Reds on July 26.
Milan’s friendly against Liverpool is part of the Hong Kong Football Festival 2025. Apart from the Italian and the Merseyside outfits, Arsenal and Tottenham are also set to be a part of the event.
An official statement issued by Milan also confirmed the establishment of the first AC Milan Academy in Hong Kong as they aim to consolidate their presence in the region.
With Liverpool in pole position to lift the Premier League title this season, Slot’s job as the team’s manager looks safe. However, it remains to be seen whether Sergio Conceicao will still be the coach on the touchline for Milan during the friendly.
