Serie A giants Milan will want a new manager next season and Bologna boss Vincenzo Italiano is now on their shortlist.
Sergio Conceicao’s stint at Milan is expected to end in the summer as he has failed to impress the club’s management of his abilities.
The likes of Roberto de Zerbi, Antonio Conte and Max Allegri have been linked with Milan. Sky Italia state that all those names are certainly on the club’s shortlist, Italiano is now also being looked at as an option in the summer.
That isn’t just because of what Italiano is doing with the Bologna side, who can qualify for the Champions League. But because the club’s upper management is generally a fan of the Italian, who also did well at Fiorentina and this led to links with Napoli, who ended up hiring Antonio Conte.
As of now, Fabio Paratici has a verbal agreement to become Milan’s next sporting director and he is also a fan of Italiano and the decision will be made in the next few weeks and months.
