Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is waiting for contacts from West Ham.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Massimiliano Allegri is eyeing up a potential managerial move to the Premier League as the head coach situation of West Ham attracts interest. Current manager Julen Lopetegui is expected to leave in January and Allegri could be on the line to replace him.
The 57-year-old Italian manager is learning English steadily to be ready if an opportunity from England arrives. The Hammerers are unhappy with performances under the Spaniard and a reshuffle in the management role is on the cards.
While the West Ham chance looms on the horizon for Allegri, a call could come from Roma at the end of the season as Claudio Ranieri is predicted to have suggested his name to take over. Although official contacts are awaited, Allegri could be presented with the prospect of further cementing his position as one of the greatest Italian managers ever.
