According to Kicker, Pellegrino Matarazzo’s last chance to save his job as Hoffenheim coach could be Saturday’s game against Hertha BSC.
Just over a month after taking over as Hoffenheim coach, Pellegrino Matarazzo is already feeling the pressure.
According to Kicker, Saturday’s relegation six-pointer against Hertha BSC could be Matarazzo’s last game in charge if his team disappoint again.
Hoffenheim’s 2-1 defeat to Freiburg yesterday extended their winless run to 14 games. The Kraichgauer are bottom of the table after losing their first five games under Matarazzo.
Matarazzo started the season as Stuttgart coach, but was sacked after nine games without a win.
