Paris Saint-Germain look to be running away with the Ligue 1 title. Luis Enrique’s side are 10 points ahead of their nearest challengers, Olympique de Marseille and are so far unbeaten in the league. However, that hasn’t prevented OM’s Luis Henrique (23) from losing hope about a title challenge this year.
Speaking exclusively to Get French Football News, Henrique expressed his ambition to keep up the challenge.
“The supporters have high expectations but that is why the club is so big – it is because of the fans. We will go after the Champions League, after the title too, if possible. We will focus on ourselves. We will try to win the league and we have to believe until the end. There is a big favourite (Paris Saint-Germain) but they have lost matches too,” he told GFFN. None of those defeats, however, have come in the league.
There is still another Classique before the end of the season (weekend of 15th/16th March). Les Phocéens must also visit Lille OSC and AS Monaco before the conclusion of the Ligue 1 campaign.
