Olympique de Marseille will be without Geoffrey Kondogbia (31) for Sunday’s Classique against Paris Saint-Germain after the midfielder sustained a calf injury, according to RMC Sport.
The Central African Republic international, who has been a regular in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans this season, has been ruled out of contention after failing to recover in time. Kondogbia joins Hamed Junior Traoré (24), who is sidelined with a thigh problem, on the absentee list. Junior Traoré was training apart from the squad, whilst Neal Maupay, Kondogbia, and Amine Harit were working indoors during Friday’s session attended by Get French Football News.
There remains a question mark over Nayef Aguerd (28). The Moroccan centre-back has been following concussion protocol and a final decision on his availability will be made on Sunday morning.
