PSG striker Ousmane Dembélé (28) has comfortably won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, according to the standings revealed by France Football. The 28-year-old Champions League winner became on Monday the sixth France international to win football’s greatest individual prize, following in the footsteps of Raymond Kopa, Michel Platini, Jean-Pierre Papin, Zinédine Zidane and Karim Benzema.
The outlet has revealed that Dembélé boasted a 321-point lead over FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal in second place. By comparison, Manchester City midfielder Rodri only had a narrow 41-point lead over Real Madrid winger Vinicius JR. last year. Out of the 100 voting jurors, 73 of them put the Rennes Academy graduate at the top of their ranking.
