Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Turkish outfit Eyüpspor for the loan transfer of Tyrell Malacia.
The 26-year-old came to United from Feyenoord in 2022 for an initial £13 million fee. But he has been unable to establish himself as a first-team starter due to form and fitness issues.
Last season, Malacia only made four appearances for the Red Devils before spending the second half of the campaign on loan with PSV Eindhoven.
Following his return from that loan, United made it clear the Dutchman would not be part of Ruben Amorim’s plans and told to train away from the first-team group.
Malacia had been linked with a deadline day move to Spanish side Elche, but a transfer did not materialise in time.
Now journalist Resat Can Ozbudak reports the left-back is poised to join Turkish club Eyüpspor who have reached an agreement with United.
Amorim has completed a major squad overhaul this summer, as he brought in three new attackers in Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.
Diego Leon arrived from Paraguayan club Cerro Porteno before the deadline day transfer of Senne Lammens.
The Manchester titans wanted to reinforce their midfield as well, but lack of funds prevented them from completing a move for key target Carlos Baleba.
United also managed to get rid of several under-performing, overpaid stars, including Marcus Rashford, Jaden Sancho and Antony.

Alejandro Garnacho completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea, while Lammens’ arrival saw Andre Onana moving to Trabzonspor on a season-long loan.
