Man Utd have complete agreement with Roma over Sancho transfer

Roma have done everything in their power to get the Jadon Sancho transfer over the line.

Despite that, the Manchester United attacker has yet to sign off on the move himself.

The England international has yet to feature for Ruben Amorim’s men in the 2025/26 campaign.

Roma are understood to have a ‘complete agreement’ with the Red Devils over the potential transfer of Sancho.

However, it remains to be seen whether or not the out-of-favour attacker is prepared to sanction the deal on his end.

“With regards to Sancho, Roma have done everything. Roma have a complete agreement with Manchester United, they all know it, and so it depends on Sancho,” Alfredo Pedulla exclusively informed The Italian Football Podcast.

“If Sancho had already said yes, he would have been in Rome already last Thursday or Friday.

“Roma have done everything with Manchester United, they offered the money Manchester United wanted, they offered money to Sancho.

“Maybe Sancho doesn’t want to give up some of the money he is currently on, he could decide to, with all due respect, go to a league that is less important than the Serie A, but it would be Sancho’s problem to play in a smaller league.”

The former Chelsea loanee – who registered 15 goal contributions whilst on loan at Stamford Bridge – is thought to be considering all his available options.

Other European outfits are said to be monitoring the ongoing situation, but Roma remain the frontrunners.

Manchester United don’t want Sancho at Old Trafford

The winger may very well be undecided over his future, but Ruben Amorim’s side could not be clearer in their stance.

Manchester United do not believe Jadon Sancho has a future at the club.

One can respect the fact that the Englishman may be hesitant to give up a bumper salary with the Red Devils (a reported £250,000-a-week, according to Capology).

Manchester United players Salary (per week)
Casemiro £350,000
Bruno Fernandes £300,000
Jadon Sancho £250,000

With a salary that nearly rivals United’s leading talent in Bruno Fernandes, however, it’s hard to imagine a European outfit being prepared to match it.

The simple fact remains that Sancho will most likely require a club with looser purse strings to meet his salary demands.

At this point in time, however, the footballer’s available exit options are hardly expansive.

Only time will tell if a better offer than what Roma have on the table will be forthcoming.
