
Mainz have announced that Leandro Barreiro, Merveille Papela and Jessic Ngankam are leaving the club.
After confirming another season in the Bundesliga on Saturday, Mainz have today confirmed the departures of three players.
Leandro Barreiro, who has spent the last eight years at Mainz, will join Benfica on a free transfer.
Academy graduate Merveille Papela is also leaving on a free transfer, but his next club hasn’t been announced yet.
Finally, Jessic Ngankam returns to Eintracht Frankfurt after a six-month loan spell.
