Having missed Olympique Lyonnais’ narrow 1-0 win over FC Utrecht on Thursday, club captain Corentin Tolisso is expected to return to the line-up against Lille OSC on Sunday afternoon.
Tolisso missed Lyon’s UEFA Europa League win due to suspension, after the Frenchman was sent off against Manchester United in the same competition last season. Paulo Fonseca is not contending with any fresh injury concerns.
OL are expected to start without a recognised centre-forward, with Martin Satriano set to drop to the bench. It means that Tolisso will likely start in a more advanced role, as he has done for much of the season so far. Meanwhile, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is expected to return to the line-up, having been left out in favour of Ruben Kluivert in midweek.
