Lucas Beraldo (20) was substituted after 30 minutes in PSG’s latest preseason friendly against Sturm Graz due to an injury he sustained during the match, as reported by L’Équipe. The Brazilian international defender was starting alongside Milan Škriniar.
Beraldo was forced off the field with Les Parisiens leading the match 2-1. Eventually, the final score was 2-2. The 21-year-old’s injury comes at a difficult time for the Ligue 1 champions who have injuries mounting up in the defensive third of the pitch. Presnel Kimpembe has also suffered a setback ahead of the new Ligue 1 season.
Pacho incoming
Whilst PSG are struggling with injuries at the heart of the defence, a new arrival will alleviate some of those worries. Willian Pacho is set to arrive from Eintracht Frankfurt after the French capital club have agreed a deal to sign the Ecuadorian centre back for a fee in the region of €45m, according to Sky Germany.
