Mohamed Toubache-Ter is reporting that FC Lorient midfielder Enzo Le Fée (23), who is set to depart the Breton side this summer, favours a move abroad.
Le Fée announced on Monday that he will leave Les Merlus at the end of the current season. The Frenchman, who was linked with a move in the January transfer window to Bournemouth – with whom Lorient now share a stakeholder – explained that he was expecting a contract extension offer from his formative club, which never came. Now, he says, he is no longer expecting anything from the club and has no intention of extending his stay.
Foot Mercato reported on Tuesday that Bundesliga sides were leading in the chase to sign the France U21 international. The French publication reported that Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt are in the running to sign to Lorient midfielder. Ligue 1 club OGC Nice have previously been linked with making a move for Le Fée.
Toubache-Ter now reports that Le Fée’s preference is for a move abroad, which will likely be music to the ears of Borussia Dortmund, who according to the French journalist, are in pole position to sign the player. He will reportedly cost €25m, including bonuses.
