Liverpool could be looking to sign a new left-back in the summer transfer window, and they have been heavily linked with a move for Fulham defender Antonee Robinson.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, the Reds are ‘homing in on a swoop’ for the 27-year-old and will have to pay £30 million for him.
Liverpool have been tracking the left-back for several months, and they have been focusing on a deal to sign him over the past few days.
The Reds are also interested in Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, but Robinson has emerged as a ‘main target’ for the club.
Robinson is liked by both Manchester clubs, but he would be keen to move to Liverpool if the Reds pay the cash.
Andy Robertson’s Liverpool future in doubt
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has made it clear he is very happy with his squad, but if there’s a good player available at the right price, the club would definitely try to get him on board.
Andy Robertson has been a great servant for the club, but his future could come under scrutiny in the summer.
The Reds are not looking to push him out but could be willing to cash in on him if there’s a good offer on the table.
The 30-year-old has struggled with form and fitness this season, and Slot has often used Kostas Tsimikas ahead of him in league games.
Robertson has plenty of football left in him, but next summer will represent Liverpool’s best chance to sell him for a high transfer fee.
