Bayer Leverkusen have apparently come too late in showing interest in Moise Kean, with the Juventus forward now close to joining Atletico Madrid.

Bayer Leverkusen have been linked with a move for Juventus’ Moise Kean in recent days.

However, according to Sky Germany, it’s now clear that the 23-year-old will not be coming to the BayArena.

The report claims that the Bundesliga leaders have been informed that Kean is set to join Atletico Madrid.

As a result, Leverkusen are now expected to turn their attention to working out a deal for Real Betis forward Borja Iglesias, as they look to bring in a replacement for the long-term injured Victor Boniface before the transfer window closes.

Habib Diallo, who plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab, is also said to be a candidate.
