The Supercoppa Italiana semi-finals and final dates were announced by the Lega Serie A.
The president of the Lega Serie A Ezio Simonelli confirmed (via La Repubblica) that the Supercoppa Italiana semi-finals will be played on December 18 and 19, while the final will take place on the 22nd.
The competition will be played in Saudi Arabia, and they are yet to announce the official venue for the matches. Last year, the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh hosted the final and there is a possibility of the matches being played in Jeddah due to Saudi Arabia’s domestic football league games.
The top two of the Serie A from last season, Napoli and Inter will feature in the tournament alongside the finalists of the Coppa Italia, Bologna and Milan. The semi-finals will be Napoli vs. Milan and Inter vs. Bologna.
Apart from the Supercoppa Italiana, Simonelli hinted towards the Coppa Italia final being played in Milan this season due to constraints in the football calendar.
