Promoted Premier League side Leeds United has reached a total agreement with Lyon for the transfer of Brazil international goalkeeper Lucas Perri (27), according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins. Perri was one of the most reliable Ligue 1 goalkeepers last season. His performances and Lyon’s dire financial situation have made Perri an interesting prospect for European clubs this summer.
The Brazilian has been linked with AS Monaco, who have considered many different targets in their search for a new No.1, including David de Gea. Neom SC held an interest in Perri, but Leeds were also monitoring Perri as they looked to upgrade on French goalkeeper Ilan Meslier, who came under increased scrutiny last season for some error-laden performances.
