Lazio have been average in Serie A this season and it is clear that they have hedged a lot of their bets on the Europa League this season. They topped the league stage of the competition and have earned the right to be considered among the favourites for the competition. They narrowly best Viktoria Plzen 3-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16 and now face Bodo/Glimt of Norway.
Vastly experienced winger Pedro opened up about the game and the opponents pre-match. Speaking to Sky (via TMW), the former Barcelona man said,”This match is different from the ones we have played, it will be difficult given the way they play. We must be ready for a good performance, in search of a victory on this pitch”.
The first leg is an away fixture for Lazio and Pedro has said that the side will try to keep the ball and make positive moves forward. Pedro is now 37 years old and has won everything there is to win at the top level of football with Barcelona and Spain. He has also lifted the Europa League before during his stint with Chelsea.
